Well I’m happy.  I finally did to my website what I have always wanted to do: I can now write each new page with only the few lines of opening html and php and it comes out looking exactly right, and identical, on every single page!  This means that if I ever want to change the style or content of my pages I can do it without tracking down every page and manually copy and pasting the new...
